Hello, and welcome to the website
of Tammany View Baptist Church!

My name is Richard Pettijohn, and I serve as the pastor here at TVBC. I want you to know that I appreciate you taking the time to visit our website today! I am excited about all God is doing through the members and ministries of our church, and am eager to see what He will do in the future. We strive to keep Christ at the center of all we do here, and believe that He offers the only genuine hope available for mankind through His death and resurrection.

Please accept my personal invitation for you to join us one Sunday morning (10:30) for worship. We enjoy welcoming guests and have a reputation for being a friendly and genuinely warm congregation. Our gospel-centered worship service offers the opportunity for praise through a balance of traditional hymns and contemporary songs; corporate and personal prayer; giving; and, the preaching of God’s Word. I am committed to preach a sermon each week based entirely on the Bible with relevant application. Our hope and prayer for each service is that all those in attendance will encounter the risen Christ and leave with a sense of having been challenged and equipped to make a difference in the world for Him.

There is a great deal of important information about TVBC available here on our website. I hope you will take the time to search through the site to learn more about us. If you have questions, please feel free to email me at rcpettijohn@gmail.com, or call the church office at 208-746-5031. I believe TVBC is great place to worship, fellowship, serve, and grow in Christ, and I’d love the opportunity to meet you.

I look forward to seeing you soon!

In Christ,

Pastor Richard Pettijohn
